This Australian indie rock formed in 2005. there are 4 members, Jonathon Aherne on bass guitar and vocals, Toby Dundas on drums and programming, Dougi Mandagi on vocals and guitar, and Lorenzo Sillito on keyboard guitar and vocals.

this band released their debut album Conditions in 2009, as you can see the album's lead single "Sweet Disposition" peaked in the Top 10 on the UK singles charts and that single is one of the soundtracks of "500 days of Summer" (a comedy drama film) which are starring by Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zoey Deschanel. Joseph Gordon as Tom Hansen, a trained architect who works as a writer at the greeting card company and he begins to fall in love with Zoey Deschanel as Summer Finn who's assistant to Tom's Boss and romantic interest of tom. then They become to love each other. but unfortunately after a few months they get along, summer tells to tom that She does not believe in true love and doesn't want a boyfriend, so She leaves him after all. "500 days of summer" that's one of my fav movie by the way haha. back to the topic, actually Dougi Mandagi on vocals of The Temper Trap is 100% from indonesia (manado) and incredibly He has a great and unique voice that can make me enjoy listening to his song for so long . that's why I really like this band. oh my god, so freakin' adore his voice. whoops.
